why is it that people answer trivia questions with Google

we should have a rule no google when answering trivia it makes the games so ******* bullshit

heres something nothing to do with google dont even try to google it

in which episode does a charecter end up living an alternate timeline awakening 700 years after his crew is gone

now this is an easy one but should limit the Google cheaters

Well, official sources state that there never has been any true meaning to NCC except being a registration prefix for Starfleet vessels.

However, that could have changed with "Enterprise"... but I missed too much of that series, so I don't know.

...lol, I don't answer the trivia questions seriously hun, I'm not a Trekkie, so I google this stuff to learn more about it :P besides, how would you even know if someone used google or not? you wouldn't! So there is no point to trying to say it's cheating, and certainly no point to losing your cool over such a ridiculous topic...You need to re-examine what you consider cheating, because you certainly had to learn somewhere, google is my prefered search engine, If people can't figure a question out, they should google it, why limit yourself to the knowlegde off the top of your head? The Internet is amazing because you can find the answer to anything out here...Over reacting like that isn't going to dissuade someone from using google to answer a question. I told him to use google because well...if you seriously know the definition of every acronym in the star trek universe then you need to go outside...for once...it's something that he could have just typed in as "Define:NCC" to figure out, thats why I said it, I doubted very much that he would be able to answer that off the top of his head.

Using google to answer a question, in a game or no, is not a weakness but a resourcefulness, I would support such things, that way you actually learn something rather then just reading the answer, you read why it is the answer...Don't bad mouth people for being more resourceful then others, and thinking ahead, it's a game to test your star trek knowledge but I seriously doubt anyone is keeping score, It's for fun, so if there is no score, how can you cheat...

Hmm...

the doctor's back-up program was captured by aliens who ransacked the ship during some uprising, 700 years later it is reactivated in a museum, the museum was another holo recreation in an even further off future. don't know the episode, it was voyager though. is that good enough?

course it is good enough

and the reason i consider google cheating is because of the fact that you cheated to get your answer you didnt even watch the episode to get the answer all you did was look for it you need to watch the stuff

if you just google it then you dont deserve to answer

Well I aint got much to say bout the warp core, but why your boiling that one up (was it a type IX warp core? probably not) anyway here is a question to keep you busy

Of all the ships that participated in the Battle in First Conact, ILM only designed three in detail, the Enterprise, The Defiant, and a third ship, What was the class, and name of the third ship?
