Star Trek Online

You've all probably heard of the new mmorpg star trek online game (http://startrek.perpetual.com) and I was wondering what role you would like to play on a ship, should you get the game (just focusing on the working on a ship as a member of the crew theme/concept).

I would prefere to be a cheif engineer. I think too many people would want to be in command - but the captain never really does anything - just oreders people around.
I also suppose as cheif engeneer you would never be board - always things to calobrate and fix.

yeah i was gonna say that too

id always be either cheif engineer, Helm officer or tactical

always cheif of each ofcourse eventually id be captain but strech it out alittle first

Wow...like a World of Warcraft kinda RPG? that sounds really cool...I'd be Tactical or Security...mabey helm...can you create your character from a bunch of diffrent species? I wanna be a Bajorian! sorry...i'm a wee bit drunk, and thus a little off

well the boring thing is you can't have your own ship because you need to work as a team to use the ship

I think tactical would be fun. long breaks and then you blow ships out of the space

nooo, science, you can just sit there do like your doing something very researchy and then tell your superior that the ectoplasmic condoit needs some hyper modulation of the secondary node to improve the way to detect cloacked ships.

and the superior will just say: make it so

but if you can have a ship if you are captain with only npcs then everyone will be redshirts pritty boring to me then. makes the other classes redundent

first officers are usually reffered to as number 1

if u want more clarification of what i said

i said i was captain u were first officer and u need sex and wanted to go to risa cause u were a virgin
