Ok, so I just wanted to say, I haven't seen very many episodes....and every one I have seen has sucked.  The latest one sucked the hardest.  I don't know the name of the episode....but apparently that in the 22nd century, humanity is equipped to take on the Borg.  And if that weren't preposterous enough...the Borg in Enterprise were actually more advanced than the Borg in First Contact!  Oh my f...ing Lord it was horrible.  We should start a petition to have this horrible show removed from canon.  :borg:

I believe the last one was called "these are the voyages"

Yes, it had the worst writing ever, but there were some alright episodes.  Like how they explain why TOS klingons have no Facial Ridges, The Episode with the guy who created the transporter was also ok.  How about, the in the mirror mirror eps that explained what happened to the TOS defiant.  All the augment episodes were ok too.

However, anything to do with the Temporal Getten'old War was stupid, aswell as anything with the Xindi.  I mean really?  1 lame ship taking 5 species at once?  and then winning?!?

but other than that the episodes were good.  That leaves what, about 10 episodes MAX that were actually worth watching?

But I still consider it cannon, more than books and comics, but less than DS9 or even Voyager

Well, the Borg Episode sucked harder than Kirby and I shouldn't have to mention the abominable excuse for an episode that was 'A night in the sickbay', but I vaguely remember some decent episodes too...
I think you should just remove it from your personal canon, if it makes you feel better ^-^

Hey, maybe the whole show just took place in Rikers holo-programm...

LOL...  Maybe I should give it a watch.  I've recently contemplated watching the seasons of Voyager I missed.  I was an avid fan for the first few seasons.  Then because of work, I just kind of stopped watching.  I managed to get a bit back into it when Jeri Ryan hit the scene....but then I quickly fell back out of it.  A hot chick can only carry a series so far.  :whistling:  Though I must admit, when the Borg called the truce....I laughed out loud along side my brother saying "watch what happens in like 4 episodes after," then laughing even harder when the Borg said something like "truce is irrelevant, prepare to be assimilated."

On a side note, how does one prepare to be assimilated?  Pain killers maybe?

The two Mirror episodes are the only episodes worth watching in ENT in my opinion. It was an awesome connection to TOS and it was even more awesome to see the Tholians and Gorn in a single episode. Other then that though ENT is really poorly written, has the most stupid concept for a villain race, and the hands down worse intro theme song of any series I can think of. I'm glad Scotty fried Archer's dog in STXI

Hate me, but i liked Enterprise, not all of it, but the same goes for any show, Star Trek or not.

As for the Borg episode, the Borg may have been advanced but they had only crap to work with and they never assimilated MacGyver ;)

It was a perfect time paradox, these Borg actually sent the signal that attracted the collective to the federation. At the end of the episode, T´Pol mentioned that their signal would take 200 years to reach the delta quadrant. That means the cube from wolf 359 was already on it´s way to earth when q brought the enterprise d there. He helped (in a typical irresponsible way of course).

though it wasn't very trek like, I actually loved the theme song...before it was sped up, and then it was horrible. :(

Again, it was not fitting for a Star Trek Show, but it was a cool theme

My father liked the last year of the series the best, because it touched on a number of issues and other things that were in the Original Series. Like, what happened to the Defiant in "In a Mirror Darkly." And why the frak Klingons looked like humans and then like meanacing demon-lookalikes that we know and love.

Me being me, I really did like the last episode a lot, mainly for the fact that the Enterprise-D returned  :woot: They really didn't need to kill Trip, that I agree with.

The Temporal Cold War also seemed like something really kinda of unbelievable in my eyes. Guys from the 29th century going back for help from guys in the 22nd. Purposely breaking the Temporal Prime Directive repeatedly. "You founded, or will foun what we call the UFP" "Welcome to the Enterprise-J" Time travel is an ok thing to have here and there, but it dominated much of Enterprise's storyline

i like Dr Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) / (Capt Archer)  i want him to be good

i liked the origional theme till they sped it up and give it a country twang (just didnt sit right)

if there is all this temperal cold war and time agents etc, then everything that transpired here is yet ANOTHER parallel universe (like the last movie)  while everything thing that goes on there is fine, it doesnt affect cannon.

phlox NOT getting assimilated was total BS.  they should have been so dead.

while it was never stated, i stiill think that the auto repair shipyard in "dead stop (?)" seemed infint borg ish.

a automated station sampling / scanning all ships and crew and using huminoid bodies as a neural netword to think, self repairing..  seems awfully borg ish to me.

over all, i did like the show for the most part, there were sure some episodes that made me think of leaving the house and going out into the real world to have a life, but i just found other shows to watch  :D

I agree with everything you just said

Though it was borgish, I loved that shipyard episode :woot:

I would love to see a station that actually expanded to fit a ship in a2.  we could just have that station couldn't we? :D

:schmoll:

Ok, I have some things to say. Yes the last episode was terrible and undeserving of the title Star Trek, but most of the show was great. About the Borg, it did not violate canon at all. They stole a transport ship and managed to dramaticaly improve everything in only a couple of days. Each and every encounter the Borg got better and better. Enterprise would have been assimilated if it werent for Archer and Malcom who beamed aboard the ship to plant explosives (they also had specs for the transport because it was starfleet in design so they new where it was vulnerable). These Borg were in no way more powerful than in First Contact; they didn't have a cube or a queen! As for an early starship taking on the Borg I think you should look at is a group of Borg who take over a weak transport, keep modifying it for a couple of days, and then almost defeat the starfleet flagship! Enterpise was one of the best shows ever on television. Yes, at first I didnt like it at all, but after giving it a chance and watching a bunch of episodes I found it to be great. The Temporal Cold was was awesome (I got to see the Enterprise J and a Prometheus), the Xindi Conflict was full of suspense and great stories, I got to see Brent Spinner, Rura Penthe, Risa, and many other wonderful places and things. Just give it a chance, you'll find it to be one of the most entertaining experiences you've ever had, and you'll find yourself wanting more.
