Perhaps someting about one of the alien races - let's say Klingons or Romulans - would do nicely. Also, Klok, I'm expecting an appointment with the devil so if I die, fine. If hell exists, I'll be there or wherever I might end up, most likely as a Romulan or a Cardassian or in hell, wherever I would end up.

Personally i'd love to see something else set in post-nemesis timeline, a new ship and crew... the stories could evolve around the building of the romulan/federation relationship after nemesis, it would also be an opportunity to go into issues such as the maquis and back to the good old fashion exploration style of the TNG series. Also a good opportunity to bring back the borg or read alittle more into the sona! :assimilate:

I mean, Gene Roddenberry wanted Star Trek to go forward not backward... all the ST fans have built the main fanbase around the next generation timeline, look how many games have came out set in TNG, I bet everyone of the fans out there could name every class of federation ship from TNG... it would b a shame to loose it.

However knowing B&B they'll go to far to fast and end up buggering up another series, I read around the time the movie was suppose to be in production that a new series was in plans as well based on the Enterprise from the 29th century, acording to the interview they had the ship design worked out'n'everything they talked about a shot they wanted to add in, the first shot of the enterprise. They said that you wouldnt see the reg but you would just know by the look of the ship that it was the Enterprise...

I wish we'd hear something else, all this specualation is killing me

Forgive my use of words; I'm a little mental if you know what I mean. ;) I'm also looking forward to things after Nemesis. I've heard about an empire called the Reman Alliance. I'm also looking forward to seeing what the Romulans, Cardassia, the Dominion, Ferenginar, and possibly the Borg (if some might still exist after Future Janeway abbliterated them) would be like in the future.

ok then

how about a post-nemesis show in which everything like that is wraped up, you know like all of those "loose threads" are the borg destroyed, will the federation/romulan relationship pan out or fail, dealing with the cardassians after the war all that sort of thing... then maybe after that series they could move alittle further into the future, I think there is alot more than can happen in the TNG timeline, just hope B&B dont do somethin else which could cost them and the fans the star trek franchise :(

the borg will be always around, as the queen has been destroyed several times. like in the movie and the last voyager episode. i thought it had to to with a temporal signal that is sent back in time to prevent the death but i am not sure

well the why the borg qween works is that that have her on file. so when she gets distoyed she is remade agin. she is fully enganered at one pont she was natral. if i rigte she was a resolt of hue that was capcher on enteripise-d and toto to be humin. wich led to loguteis beign a coman drown and the borg refering to tham seves as i and not we as offin final you got the borg qween.

i thinkn thats haw star trek justifiys this.

hmm that sounds not right. because the queen is the collective, she gives teh orders, she is borg, without it the borg don't know what to do, they are just mere puppets

yes, right, she´s the collective.. the beginning and the end..
i think her mind is the head in the collective.. if her body gets destroyed she jus needs a new body n transfering her presence into it, to speak through it. like an operating system on a computer.. with a AI..

in the novel "the farther shore" part of the voyager relaunch it was reveled that a program called "the royal protocal" made "normal" drones into queens and this file is stored on all drones just in case...

Due to the nature of the Borg, I would have thought that the Borg Queen was more of a representative than the actual leader.
