I got the idea to post this from my previous post about Star Trek: Enterprise sucking hard.  Lets get the numbers out there!!

there should be an "alright" and "non-cannon" setting :sweatdrop:

Because now I'm forced to say good, because I did like some, and you don't have to watch the bad ones.

This topic is about the "show" in general. Not about liking a few episodes  :sweatdrop:

That ENT-thing? Throw it into the re-opened Collosseum, throw TOS in as well and let them have a fight to the death.

Edit/Tag on:

After that, throw in Voyager vs. DS9 o.o

The survivors will eventually have a FFA together with TNG, meeeeeen that'll be a mess :P

The difference is all the other shows were at least decent and don't deserve to be judged against this piece.

Enterprise was complete ass, from the intro to the credits. It did get substantially better as it progressed in seasons however it could never completely break its own stigma...

The world rejoices...  :innocent:

Good and Bad.

Good to the fans and casuals, bad the the haters and purists (better known as: Canon Nazi's).

It was ok in parts but it always felt a bit weird going from ENT to what would have been considered a futuristic TOS.

It would have been awesome if they kept some retro elements like having all the ships going SWOOSH when they went to warp and the phasers went fzh'fzh'fzh'fzh'fzh'fzh'fzh'fzh' instead of FZEEEEoooowwww. There should have been a few more retro comb-overs too.

In fact, they should have just saved the cash and put on reruns of TOS :)
For all of ENT's charms it's got nothing on Kirk vs The Gorn.

naw, Archer VS CGI gorn wasn't even that bad, and I even liked that version.  Though, by the way the gorn was fighting, it must have been paralyzed in some way, because it should have torn Archer to pieces.

I voted 'No', though there were some episodes I liked.

Most of it was rubbish. The characters weren't written in a believable way (Archer never had real character traits, and what was the point of having Mayweather in the series, again?), it was pondering to much to mainstream ( all this T'Pol-Fanservice... and she wasn't even that pretty...); there where to much recycled plots, and the problems with canon bothered even me (I don't care as much for canon as some others, but having Borg that early was just to much)...

TOS may seem cheesy today, but the characters were great, and there were some really good plots. Heck, even Voyager had characters that were at least a bit believable and interesting...
