I just wonder where you got the Romulan stations from, as they are from from Fleet Operations.. I remember that there was a sfc mod which "lend" stuff from here without even asking, but we were never able to contact them to put proper credits in their readme

So what?? Some mods do benefit from a substantial amount of ships but you don't need to make a fantastic mod which has a shed load of ships. If you have, for example, six cruiser class ships you have to try to make them as unique as possible to avoid repeating the usage of a particular class. There are times when quality beats quantity hands down. Other times you need a better balance between quality and quantity.

the only lesson i hope fo devs are learning from the hw2 mod, is update those weapon vfx right now there far too glowy  :crybaby:

We did actually get the Romulan Stations from an SFC III mod, we have credited that in our readme, if that is incorrect I would be more than happy to correct it! Especially considering that the next release is not too far off.

Yup, apart from some slight texture modifications, at least the two Romulan station models I can see on your moddb site's gallery are are from Fleet Ops :).

This looks epic, also a big fan of HW2, cant wait for it. And for anyone else out there looking for a good HW2 mod, there is a mod called Homeworld 2 complex, adds a ton of new gameplay elements and ship sub classes, makes the game more in depth and well...complex... Definately worth a shot.

Thanks for this! We have updated our ReadMe accordingly :)

Are there other meshes that we might be able to use? The Romulans are a sadly neglected race when it comes to modding, you might have seen that some of their meshes are still pretty basic like the Griffin and Raptor.

For that answer you should send an email to Optec 'at' fleetops.net explaining the situation and such :) . He may not answer right away, so if you don't get a reply in a week, please message me and I'll remind him :).

There are some other Armada II meshes out there that you might consider inquiring about namely, Achilles 'Art of War' Romulan work. I do not know his email, but his work can be found on Armada2files, and I'm sure an email address is in one of the readmes.

good to see that mod is still kicking. we've played it in an earlier version too. some high quality stuff.
i clearly recommended for homeworld 2 owners :)

This looks fantastic. Watched all the videos and they look incredible. May have to pick up a copy of HW2 and try this out. Very nice. If there was only one aspect of stock A2 that I could change it would be the warp effects.

I love how they disappear and then reappear accross the map like the show. I've wondered if there were some way to use the borg transwarp, but turn the apperture vertical so the ships pass through horizontally instead of like the wormhole? Or if there were a way to turn the ships invisible or see through when they enter warp so they appear to vanish and then reappear once they come out of warp? Damn the lack of technology or vision in 2001 :)
