For a while now, Doug Drexler has been encouraging the artists who contribute to the Ships Of The Line calendar series to do snippets of animation based on the images they have created. This is a compilation of all of them so far, featuring old friends like the Constitution and the Sovereign, and new vessels like the refitted NX and the supply tender. Well worth a watch.

I like the part with the shuttle turning around to look into the charging torpedo-launcher of a klingon D-7 (which would demonstrate a considerable waste of firepower though).

Yeah, totally cool. The shuttle part was awesom, and the cool warp flyby with the TOS ent near the end was really cool.

Thanks for sharing!

They're Klingons, they don't do subtle. Waste of firepower, HAH. To not use all means would be dishonorable.

They just loaded it for making them piss their pants. If you look close, the launcher was cooled down after the shuttle showed them their blank butt. They played with it. If you want to shoot it, you just fire your disruptor. That shuttle would not be able to withstand even a single hit from a secondary weapon pod.
