If there is to be anything new, it must be along the lines of what Gene Roddenberry thought of Trek as being in which it would be more like TOS in respect to how the storyline goes. I'd like to be able to see any non-humanoid races in a new series. I'd also like more drama like in TOS instead of more action like in DS9. They should also have non-human languages being more common.

My best guess is the writers may are too lazy to do anything, they know there are other things that can be explored but no...

I'm sure I will get blasted for this but since Enterprise has thrown the time line out the window what about going with thier idea of the Enterprise-G kind of like "time the final frontier" and they travel though time fixing everthing that went wrong in the enterprise series
Ok so let the blasting begin :2guns:

well maybe its just me but.... the words 'action' and 'ds9' in a context is not what i would say.... ds9 was borin as f*** till it finally came to the big dom war.. so what kinda action are u talkin about???

and the drama in TOS was 'terrible'... specially if kirk had to fight an extra terrastial psy-force-mind-attackin enemy... he looked like joe cocker on stage... like he had som spasm attacks or sumthin

TNG was and is still the best star trek show... picard n data... nothin better out there...
