No doubt the graphics will be Half-Life2 style (Hopefully doom3!!)
I'm definately willing to pay the monthly fee (for online).
If you had of read it, it says to play the online theres the fee, but there is single player in it.

I suggest you guys try it out for a month or 2, if you dont like it dont pay.

Well im sure like almost every MMORPG they will offer a free trail like the StarWars Galaxies 14 day free trail i recently tried out, and im sure visually it will be very good we are talking a 05/06 development, 2007 release which by then we'll have the next generation of video cards and of course the next gen of home consoles mainly xbox 2 which i would like to see it on.

well i read it, but i think i missed that line...if there will be single player too it will be interesting...
and yea they got a free trial... where u gotta type in the creditcard number... and i dont got a credit card... and as long i dont see german servers for it i wont play it, cause i dont wanna play a game with a ping of 500 or so on... so u see... i think i wont try it out..

I think I also missed the single player, but the game would probably be alot more exciting online, leaving me with the question of how much money I'll be willing to spend in a few years. We'll just see how it goes wont we?

yeah but you will have to buy the game first to find out if you like it, thats the bad things about them ort of games, you have to pay to buy it, and then you have to pay to play it, i think its a rip off.

The open beta of DAoC Europe for everyone was a nice thing. You could download the client / find it on Magazine CDs and play until final release. That way you could test the game for free and thus decide to buy or not.

Such an open beta test (without limiting it to a few lucky people) would be a good thing for that new ST MMORPG, too.

I'd enjoy that, but really we should either buy for free and pay to play, or buy for cash and play for free.

yep... same opinion here.. i would even pay more for the game to play for free, or the other way..

//Edit: well, maybe i would pay for it, but only like 5$ a month max. ...

Online games cost too much. Hopefully this one won't. I wonder if you get to control a starship. I'll have to look it up again.

well the faq sounds like you can be part of a ships crew and with enough member i think everything can happen... engineer, doctor, tactical ops, scientist or cartographical stuff...

i hope they implement a lot of species... like every part of the starfleet, klingons, roms, ferengi, and so on... even borg would be fun in this game i think
