To be fair, I think Data's deactivation of his emotion chip is supposed to be something he learned (just?) after Generations ("I believe I have now learned to control my feelings" - Data to Deanna) and show his progress towards humanity, just as in the later films his emotions are much more blended into his personality.

The deuterium thing is also a misnomer. It's like saying Hydrogen is the most abundanent element in the Universe. It is, but there are plenty of places you ain't gonna find it ;).

Interesting stuff though.  ^-^

k, only commenting on part one: no mistakes found ...

for example: data isnt actally "breathing" in the sense of it for surviving, but he actually immitates breathing ... so both scenes are totally right, because the boy askes if data doesnt breathe in the sense of
"drowning" in the waters while beeing underwater.

then: mr scott was found in some timetravel thingy, i think. so things he might say can be mixed up.

Part 1:

200/300 years: No mistake. Only Cochrane had it, and it would take a while to catch on.
Borg Ships: No matter how well protected a ship is, it has weak points that only an ex-Borg would know.
24/29 decks: The ship had a refit.
Generations artifact: Picard was only concerned with the family album, it means more to him than any other object.
Adm. Janeway: 'Year of Hell' is an alternate timeline, none of it actually happened.

Hmmm, i have to admit, the things like "a klingon wouldn´t do that or would do that" are a tricky ones too, not any klingon is a paragon of honor.

But there are definetely some genuine mistakes, like the first Enterprise, or the beard thing, i loved that, the video made it seem like Deanna kissed Riker about a hundred times with a beard.  ^-^

And of course all the Warp stuff makes you crazy.

And i found a mistake myself, in Star Trek 2009 Spock (the young version) goes on about the similarities between Romulans and Vulcans, funny though, they never made that connection till TOS.

They got some good inconsistancies there, but I spotted one just a few days ago that would have fitted in nicely

On the episode of enterprise where they encounter the Borg, Reed comments that their hand weapons are about as effective as holographic bullets...jump forward, or back to the the movie first contact, and holographic bullets seem quite effective, in fact maybe a weapon the borg cant adapt to.

I think that was both an inside joke to the Trek community, and a joke about how "holographic bullets aren't real, so the phase weapons don't do shit"  :pinch:
