Who do you reckon would win? Ship-to-Ship and personal combat are fine.
I'd expect a bloodbath, with little to none of te blood being Klingon...

I wish the Hirogen were added as a race, even as NPC's

I think the Klingons would win, as they are actually an organized fighting force and disciplined
According to some old posts Captain Proton, Hirogen are on the "to do" list as mercenaries

Chances, are the Hirogen would be totally shocked or surprised by the cloaks. But, then again maybe some of their prey has that technology but who knows. Then, there those Negh'vars and other hefty battleships which the Hirogen were never documented to have had. However, in hand to hand comabat, the Hirogen as I recall had those Alpha Quadrant species holograms, and I recall seeing at least one Klingon among those rogue holograms. But, I guess that those holograms are not totally acurate, and I can see a bunch of Klingons boarding a Hirogen ship, and just randomly stabbing people. That's another Klingon advantage because, Hirogen ships have pretty big ships with small crews. I bet the Klingons would win hands down, but the Hirogen would have some chance. They are pretty tough.

Klingons no contest.

ship to ship combat, klings would win, hand combat, hirogens would win seeing that they strategize and plan ahead the next step in weakening and defeating the enemy, the klingons are just pure muscle and hit the enemy with what they got... as soon in one of the voyager episodes, 2 hirogens were able to take down 1 species 8472 but were injured, but greatly weakened spec.8472

klingons hands down.
Using the alpha quaderant races as a base, the Hirogen are a minor race, they have all the dissadvatages. technology, numbers, sheer productive value. The Klingons would be able to just out build dhips and spam the hirogen to kingdom come.

well we do not know the full size of the hirogen fleet but one on one i think the hirogen would win there tech is quite impressive (voyager needed help from an hirogen to track one of their vessels) and can withstand a descent amount of fire while causing a lot of damage. also i do believe they are stronger than klingons

We don't know how many ships they have, but what we do know is that all of their ships are isolated (groups of 3 at most normally) and are spread throughout the sector with little to no fleet organization and often a crew of about 2. They don't even have a homeworld anymore and are driving themselves to extinction because they became isolated and nomadic.
Hirogen are Hunters, they are great at hunting and are strong with good senses. Klingons are Warriors, they are great at fighting and are strong, ave good senses and a backup of all major organs.

Would be a great battle with much honor to win, no doubt about it :guns: :fish: :2guns:. The Klingons would win, they are just more and some Klingons are as tall as Herogens. Think of the one in season 1 in TNG. (I think he laiter on played a Hirogen, too
). Ship to ship combat klingons would also win with a large fleet, surprise attacks and so on.
Although I think that Hirogen ships can be quite resistable, somehow they must have survived the 8472 ship...
And they have bigger guns. Nevertheless ... they are just too few.

they dont have bigger guns, they just have an enery dissipating armor. As i remember voyager overcame it by varying its phaser frequencies and using torpedos.
i think the intrepid is tacticaly about the same as a hirogen ship. That makes any ship like a K'vort and up more powerful. Let alone Hirogen taking something on like a Vorcha or Neg'Var

I had to think this one trough for a while....
The hirogen are very swift. I think they would do well in hit and fade attacks, and since they are hardly concentrated (no homeworld), massive klingon fleets would hardly do much good.
They outsmart the klingons, and being massively outgunned overall isn't that big of a disadvantage.
However, one of those hirogen ships is no match for a Vor'cha. And of course they could also be hunted down by cloaked b'rels, so my vote goes to the klingons.
