I asked the same thing not so long ago when I was new to these forums.

Answer:

So many episodes that had to be taken out of the storyline.

Mostly the ones written by Robert Beltran aka Chakotay.

Techincaly nothing is "taken out" of canon, just people would rather forget them. Really every episode should be condsidered canon

was that the one where Janeway and Paris hit warp 29 and turn into lizzards and have lizzard babys?

ya know, it is a good thing Paris has a job on Chuck, cause after that, i swore he would never work again.

that was one of those Voyager SNAFU's that could have been a series ender,  kinda like the Belanna being suicidal.  your left wondering, "what did i just watch, and WHY"

Nothing is wrong with it. As long as you do not take it in context with ANYTHING else in Star Trek mythos. Past present or future.

hard to ignore 30 some years for a show that ran for 7 years.

dont get me wrong, i watched them all, but i never got the VGR DVD's,  partly cause money was an issue when they came out, and partly cause, well,  it was vgr.

i like voager. there is nothing wrong with it. its a part of star trek and helped to create the universe.

and the vid is indeed very funny.^^ there are other versions too. heres a good one
