So have you guys ever come across a ship that you think makes a good connie 2?? If so go ahead and post it here

not everything needs a II version lol. I'm happy with connie staying in past.

The ship u posted isnt offensive tho, but its not special either, the feds have so many ships already that new ones wouldnt be unique

Looks really close to another Ambassador style... kind of like the EVO, and a ton of others too  . Why not try for looking for mixed tech type designs?

Well its not like i posted it in the future requests so im not really looking for a ship that would be in the game. Im just looking for ships that look like its successor.

If you want a good look for a Constitution-II, look at some of the SF3 modern refits of the Constitution at Demon Renegade Studios.

i dont even like the original connie lol.

i much prefer the defiant.

ambas is pretty cool, as are galaxy and sovvie. just not as good as defiant.

This looks more liked a beefed up Constitution-refit, though it is interesting. You could argue that the successor to the Constitution was the Ambassador.

It would be cool if they had a connie 2 for a special ship, but I think that taking the new connie from star Trek would be the first step. Then mix a little of the old refit connie to give it an old flare then refit it with some new tech and it would be the Connie 2.0. Anyone want to try it out??

As well as you could argue that the excelsior was. Yeah the connie isnt exactly a new one i think its a good start. And as for the jj-prise absolutely not.

That pic of that model, it gives me wood. We NEED this added!

As for loadout and such ...... Ambasador level phasers, just a tad weaker prehaps........  photons, fire in  bursts of 3 per tube, option to fire a limited stock of quantum torps instead for special energy. When going veteran, quantums replace the photons.

The Valinet-subtype is a 24th Century refit, so I'd agree with quantums as a veteran.

On a side note, has anyone checked the Klingon section of that site? There's a ship that's kinda similar to the LuSpet. At least, I think I got it from there...
