Bridge Commander

Has anyone played bridge commander, does anyone play it multiplayer? if so I'd like to try it out....

also

does anyone know a good mod for it (if there is one)?

there are a ton of mods for it.  unfortunatly, I don't have it.  Tyler does though.

Kobayashi Maru and Supermod 3 are great mods for BC. KM is multiplayer and Supermod is single player.

To add to what Tyler siad...

Play the campaign stock first then create a second install and put Supermod V3 on that one and them install km 2k9 then the 2k10 patch as well as ds9 extended on a third install.

So its like this...

stock 1.1 install
BC supermodv3
km 2k9->2k10 update->ds9X

Its a whole different game now than it was originally.

I don't have a multiplayer game; my normal one is modded to hell and my Supermod version is also modded.

I suppose I could install another version.

I have a non-modded version now, if you want to test it.

On a side note: Does anyone know what you can mod without ruining multiplayer?

Well, textures for certain though maybe a model change too aslong as all the names are the same it shouldn't kill multi...then again. Thats a question I would ask over at BCC though.

Anyone wants to try, I have a non-modded game now. It keeps closing to desktop for some reason, though.

tryed it at a LAN a few years ago.
There it seemed that the Akira is by far the strongest ship in multiplayer (fast, very manuverable, strong shields and a hell of a firepower)

but ofc thats not tested with thousends of people, just with 4.

i have it, play KM 1.0 though, but i will make a new install, is there a version we all play, is it the 2010 KM patch?

I tried with stocjk and it crashed to desktop. Haven't tried reinstalling KM yet, though.

I think I'll download the KM1.1 Beta for now. Ok, screw 1.1; it's a damn torrent so naturally it won't download. Regular 1.0 it is.
