Of course the borg use screws. They haven't assimilated anything better for the job.

And they also use Borg Tape, which is the assimilated version of duct tape. The difference? Borg Tape has Nanites.

The Borg used to use Borg nails to hold the implants on new drones' faces on, but that started to cause problems with drones collapsing later on, (They were using the inch long ones) but the drones were too stupid to figure that out. In frustration the Borg Queen just got rid of the nails and used them on their star ships to keep things from rattling around.

Gagh! An embarassment to the Collective! They should have adapted to use something else! I'd tolerate it if it were 22nd century Borg! But not this era!

I guess I might come up with a fix for that.

Yeah, I would say that Borg have had their problems. However, they could make good business selling Borg sweepers upgraded with nanites.    Screws are probably little primitive for he Borg. They just use electromagnetic adhering...or....MIGHTY GLUE!

I dont think a fix is necessary, as the Tacitcal cube in fact has those round elements
