Best Star Trek show intro....

I'm not sure if this has been polled before, but what do you guys think is the best intro, going by visual and audible aesthetics?

ds9 for the music (pre season 4)

i hate when shows speed up themes for no reason. ds9 did it in season 4. enterprise did it. it annoys me.

Of all of them, I think Voyager, then DS9 are the best.  Enterprise was the worst though.  A mediocre song to a mediocre visual intro.  Voyager really does it for me because of the special effect....for example when Voyager is flying over the rings of that planet, the camera effect takes you up through the rings, shows the little rocks and ice, etc, then zooms out a bit to get the ship and shows the reflection of the ship on the ice particles.  I know its not a real camera doing those affects, but it is very visually pleasing with a good orchestrated intro.

i liked the enterprise theme. it may be different to normal trek, but thats not a problem for me. i liked it, both as an intro and as a song on its own.

TNG for me.You gotta admit the song was pretty catchy and for visual effects voyager

I voted for Enterprise, because it`s different from the others and tells a story not only a ship flying through space . The song is nice, the only bad thing about that intro is that it`s focused on US development only.

I think Voyager comes next (nice song), then TNG(because it`s TNG  ), then DS9(song and intro fit to the station, but it`s kind of boring if you ask me).
None of them is bad though, I'm always happy when watching them. It's good that ST series had proper intros, not like many series today, where you can only see a 1second picture of the title .

Heh, I hated ds9's theme.  sooo booring.  enterprise was cool, but, like myles said, they sped it up during the xindi era.  So i am going with VOY.

Must go with Enterprise. The evolution was fantastic, Deep Space Nine very close very close indeed. After reading through this forum, i noticed some one was not happy with the showing of mainly N.A.S.A. well darn i do look back at us and the Russians and think who else explored the outer reaches, so to say  you didnt like seeing N.A.S.A. is really off the wall? we did pass the Russians up no doubt about that.
