Will Armada II be released on Steam?

Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

I haven't really done much reading up on it, but im most curious.   In my mind if Armada II was released on Steam or any legit internet distribution software, with strong multi player support, if would reinvigorate the Armada II community. Simply because of Armada II ever dwindling legit hard copies.

Don't know the numbers but steam and Stardock etc have growing popularity these days.

p.s. im off-topic in off-topic.. go figure :-

there isn't even one star trek game on either impulse or steam...
i guess that's also a license thing. i have no idea if activision would be still allowed to distribute the game. also since the star trek clash with viacom in 2003 following a few month later all their star trek games were removed from the activision website completely as if they have never existed

I'm sure there are ISOs on torrent sites that you could download.
