ditto atlantisbase   i never finished it because my save game got lost and it took so long to play, but I enjoyed almost all of it.

i completely agree with you about RC though.  i even play online every once in a while and, though there isn't alot of variation, it is alot of fun,

i would have loved to see more squad to standard clone interaction where you were inserted into an actual battlefield and had to break the lines to advance, and I really like games where you can customize characters more, but all in all, it was a pretty perfect game.  It, over most games that get it, deserves a squeal. Can you imagine fighting a jedi when order 66 came along??!?  Can you imagine a joint covert  operation with a Jedi!!?!  It could be soo cool. :whistling:

Or how about co-op missions?!?  I would love to do online/split-screen campaigns with my buddys.

Yeah, more all out epic warfare would have been nice. It definitely deserves a sequel. I don't about the Jedi though. I remember watching some of the extra videos and I got the impression that they kind of wanted to keep the Jedi out of it as much as possible and focus on the clones. It would have been cool to carry out Order 66 though.

true.  Maybe they should stick to troopers as jedi would really make regular clones look bad.

I would also like to see a more complicated melee system other than just stabbing.  don't get me wrong, the knuckle knife was awesome, but just I felt kinda stupid stabbing these guys when my comrads could walk up to them and stab them with their own weapon, or simply break their neck.

Yeah, although that's kind of the infinite question for FPSs. How do you handle melee? Every game I've played either doesn't have it, or gives it the usual single knife action. Ultimately I think it comes down to how do you manage different actions without using more keys. The awkward way out is to use key combos, but that gets messy. You could use just one button, but how then do you pick which animation to play. Related to that, should different melee types be treated differently (i.e. do different damage) or should it all be treated as a generic melee attack. The problem is melee falls into that realm of things you can do in reality that have near infinite variation and it would be too hard to handle every possibility. I guess in the end I'd rather have the generic knife attack than nothing.

But you have to admit, shanking the Trandoshan mercinaries in their backpacks was fun. :D *WEEEE*

 yep "I didn't know Trando's could fly!?"

I actually think the Clone Wars game Republic Heroes handled melee quite well, with basically a loop of different actions every time you meleed.  Starting with hitting the enemy with your gun, then kicking and punching.  I would honestly like to see a compressive version where you actually had to hit buttons onscreen to block once engaged in melee combat.  Instead of you standing up to an SBD while you mindlessly hit each-other, at least visually dodge his arm and kick him or something.  It would be difficult, but I think it is possible to code a predetermined set of attacks and responses for each character, much like the way it already handled melee with the AI commandos.

I really would like to see some action scenes like TFU but better.  Like once you get a Spider droid's armor all off, Scorch runs up to it and slides under it placing a charge on its underside while you pull out your switch and blow it away.

Or like that scene we saw in Ep 3 where the clone jumps up ontop and blasts the heck out of them.

Though I don't enjoy slomo scenes, nicly implemented battle cutscenes are fun to watch.

I cant really say which genre i like most. Most people claim i got a strange game taste. I play RTS, round based strategy games, First person shooter, RPGs, Sci-fi-simulations ...
but i only like a few of each genre. As example i seriosly dislike modern warfare2, because you nevah evah need to use your head there.

Hello brother. Nearly the same for me.
I just don't play sportgames (racing not included), hardcoresims (like A10 or Falcon 4.0), Beat em Ups (but i like streets of Rage) and adventures (theres a door, next to the door is a mace and I have to got through a group of riddles?)

In the moment I play Stalker Call of Prypiat, Hegemony Gold and Black Prophecy (way better then BSG online so far), before that I finished Drakensang: River of Time (nice to have a RPG with nearly no magical items), Call of Duty: United Offensive (the best CoD in my eyes) and Nexus the Jupiter Incidend (I want to play  Imperium Galactica 3 ;() and Deathkarz and Flatout 2 for the fun in short time.

I can't name just 1 genere

@Tokra
Yes, Shooters are mostly marking time scince 2000.

I liked the storyline from Deus Ex 2, but the gameplay was sad.  I hope the 3rd one brings more options like the original had.

I know that :P, I said like that scene.  You could still jump on top of a spider droid.  Crab droids in that game would be cool though. :whistling:

Those spider droids had guns and missiles on their heads...i would not jump onto a droid that had missiles pointing at me.

I would probably run in real life. :P

But that animation would be cool.
