Vacation of Awesome!

Well, Hello Fleetops.  Everyone here knows MJP.  He has some vacation, so yesterday, He flew 4000 miles (estimated) to meat Me and Cairo1 and hang out with us for a week.  yup, flying 4000 miles (estimated) to meat people from the internet.  what could possibly go wrong! 

DAY 1
Well, after a hassle at the airport, and making an incredibly large scene in front of weary travellers, Cairo and I met up with MJP at the baggage claims area.  After a brief introduction, and an unbrief waiting for his suitcases, we headed back out to Cairo's house for orientation and movie night.  We watched two great movies, WALL-E and V for Vendetta. Afterwards, we went to bed, it being around midnight and all.

DAY 2
Today, being Friday today, We set out to bring MJP into the big city, seeing as he hasn't seen a city larger than 4 buildings and a post office.  We fumbled around a lot, and ended up being narrowly late for the train into the Windy City, but the train was late so it turned out alright. The only camera MJP was able to bring is a shitty cell-phone camera, with 1.shit mega-shits. it's shitty.  We borrowed one of Cairo's Dad's awesome cameras with CF cards.  We got off the Train okay, no deaths yet. The first stop was the Sears Willis Tower. we got their, and it is BIG.  BIG.  really BIG.  unfortunately, the top floor was closed for maintenance so we didn't go up top, but we saw a cardboard cutout of Barack Obama. Life-Size too!  Next stop was the Giant Reflective Bean in Millennium  Park.  it's trippy. Next, we went to see the Stuka at the Museum of Science and Industry, but after several minutes of debate as to get there, and very haphazardly finding our way to the electrified train line,  we got there with an hour until closing.  so we took a bus back to Union Station, and saw the best license plate ever.  A van called Burrito. Throughout the entire time in a real city, MJP took pictures of many pretty girls, most without their knowledge, and one security guard. With the guards consent of course.  More ticket fumbling at Union Station, and on the train ride back, MJP starts chatting it up with some polish chick who looks greek. So I throw a map at MJP, and miss of course, and it lands on hot-chicks lap. she is PISSED!  after that, the train took us through Mars. it was awesome. METRA beat NASA to Mars.  back at Cairo's pad, we played some Halo 3, Cairo won (as always), had dinner (cairo's mom=best cook ever), watched Gran Torino (Get Off My Lawn), and are now going to bed.  g'night fleetops, and so ends Day 2 of MJP's BIG CITY ADVENTURE IN CHICAGO TOWN TO MEET PEOPLE FROM THE INTERNET!

DAY 3
Well, today me, MJP, Cairo, and his little brother went to Cantigny tank museum.  it. was. awesome.  We took nearly 500 pictures today alone.  For those who don't know, the Cantigny park is run by the McCormick foundation using the dead guys money, and they run a museum to the 1st division of the US Army, and near the museum Actual they have many tanks that have been used by the Big Red One throughout the years. The tanks are outdoors and people are allowed to climb all over them.  we had a blast.  they have pattons, pershings, a Sheridan, an m5 stuart, a Renault FT, an M1 Abrams, an M117 APC, many pattons and pershings, and they even have the last remaining T26E4 in the world. its an altogether cool place. there was a wedding going on, so we talked in very fake russian-style accents the entire time. we got many pics of the bride, and some pics of hot girls. it was quite humorous. The museum Actual is very cool too, and if you are ever in the chicagoland area, that is one place you must go to. heck, even if you aren't in the area, come over here to go to it anyway. it is worth it.  I will upload the pics tomorrow, nearly 3 gigs so far, and its only been 2 days of pics!

this day was kind of controversial, a note to those with tight tolerances and no sense of humor.

DAY 4
Well, today we went shooting.  All Day.  all bloody day shooting various guns.  I love america.  cairo brought his German P1, his Kar98K, and a pump-action .22, Cairo's brother brought his Russian Nagant revolver and his Mosin-Nagant M44, and cairo's cousin brought an SSG sniper rifle, a Beretta Px4 Storm, a Nickel plated 1911, a fucking huge .44 Revolver, and a Vietnam-era m16.  25 USD for an all day fun fest. Unfortunately, camera's were not allowed in the range, but suffice to say, there was much fun and sunburn to be had. the Kar98K and the Mosin-Nagant M44 kick like mules, and all of our shuolders are in serious pain from them.  the AR (m16) was like a friggin dream.  And MJP broke the pump-action .22, so no one else got to use it.  after the rediculously long car ride there (90-100 minutes! most likely more), MJP started to hit on this cute polish girl.  a 15 year old cute polish girl.  he was so busy hitting on her that he screwed up his computer and none of yesterdays pics got to my flash drive.  after a very awkward conversation about anal sex with the underage girl, mjp had to part ways with her, but not after vocalizing several dirty thoughts of his.  Me and Cairo are planning to steal his organs.  pics hopefully soon from Cantigny!

sorry this isn't as exciting as Oh noes a black hole or something, but damnit, this started on fleetops and is being posted on fleetops.

Day 5
Today was rather bland. MJP and I walked to the local Gamestop to pick up some video gaming gold.  we went their with pockets full of moneys and a dream.  we left the place with about 6 games.  MJP bought Halo 3, Mass Effect, Ghost Recon, and The Orange Box; while I only bought Ghost Recon 1 & 2.  told him it was a 20 minute walk and we got there an hour later.  after the gamestop, we had Cairo pick us up and we all went to the Cinema to see Up.  it was good. Not great, but good.  I think we expected too much out of it, because WALL-E could wow the Collective socks off the Borg. After Up, we  then went to 3 thrift stores, where MJP got security camera's and a credit card machine to steal peoples credit cards, and I got a ton of books.  but out of 3 stores, i couldn't find ANY of the pants i wear, and it sucks because mine are falling apart. then back to cairo's house to watch Taken, which was so kick ass i cannot describe it.  Cairo's little brother wouldn't stfu during the entire movie, but it was still an epic film.  Cairo and MJP got into a very, very heated discussion about the B-17's kickassery, the outcome of which i am still very confused about.  but besides movie watching, nothing happened today. except i got the pics from the other days ready! here they come! there they are! yay! pics! Day 1 pics are from the day after MJP got here, Day two is pics from Cantigny, day 4 is pics from sunday. enjoy! we sure did.

people don't answer this topic not because of anything.

It because people are more interested in there own live to them to have the say tern out in interest then lets say the Black hole topic that matches there interest more.

What dose it all mean hummm. Well if you read the Empty and Meaningless topic is devoid of meaning ad just is so.

people are selfish and self absorbed and it dose not mean any thing.

Day 6
That day me, Cairo, and MJP went back into the City to go to the Museum of Science and Industry.  The first time we ventured into the city, we didn't have the time to visit the museum, so we made a trip just for the purpose of visiting it.  At the Museum, we saw the two awesomeest things ever.  They have an original, 100%, WW2 German U-Boat, the U-505.  It was captured by the Allies near the end of the war, and it was donated to the museum.  they had a tour and everything, but we weren't allowed pics inside the sub because of some stupid reason, because someone filmed it and sold it on the web.  They also have one of the last surviving German Dive Bombers, a Stuka, JU-87.  It was captured in North Afrika, and it's awesome, and we got lotsa pics of it.  They also have a Spitfire from the battle of britain.  After the museum, we walked to a pizza place in downtown to give MJP a taste of real food.  it was rainy. very rainy.  the entire way.  it sucked so awesomely.  we got to the pizza place after a horrendous time in the rain, and we were absolutely dripping. the pizza sucked, but the journey there rocked. and then back again to walking to Union Station in the rain.  while their, MJP angered a cop and got arrested, we got pics of that too.  it was a wet day.

Day 7
Yesterday was great. Cairo went to get his Xbox fixed, and then we Airsofted.  We airsofted hard.  Me+Cairo=Team1 vs MJP+Cairo's Brother=Team 2,  Team 1 won hard.  In the VIP games i surprised the pants off of team 2 by having good camouflage and kicking generic ass. in the end game, me and team 2 VIP were both dead, so Cairo and MJP we're dueling it out near my Mom's car.  they shot it up badly, and dented the shit out of the hood.  suffice to say we stopped airsofting after that.  we then went to cairo's house, where cairo's Xbox also broke.  yesterday sucked.

Day 8
Today is MJP's last day in Civilization!  at 5:05 GMT -6 he has to go back to shitty maine, where there is bears and canada.  not much to do, so MJP is playing The Orange Box and Portal. he beat Portal after failing hard, and he completely sucks at Half-Life 2.  MJP! YOU SUCK AT HALF-LIFE 2! for now at least.  and wow! what a week! we had some fun with MJP.  crap! we forgot to steal his organs!  and that is what happens when you fly 4000 miles (estimated) to meet people from the internet. A Good Time.

Sounds fun. I've had friends visit me form Seattle, WA, England, Philippines, Germany, Greece, Korea and Japan. People I've met on the net. I plan on trips to Michigan, Pennsylvania, and California within the next few years. to meet some others. it's always great to meet new folks. I am a lot closer to MAINE I can drive there in 40 mins. I'm in Massachusetts lol
