Now that I have your attention, im eagirly awaiting trek11. But...

STAR WARS IS COMMING OUT ON DVD!

Before you say this is very old news, like as old as battlefront 1, I mean the original versions, aka solo shoots first. It seems like a total miracle on the part of lucas films. This has me psyched beyond belief, it just seems inconcievable.

could swear i already had this, maybe i got it on VHS, been a while since i last saw (where i put) it. all i know is that it was the trilogy (episodes 4,5 & 6) and i got it some time after episode 1 came out... or was it just before.... *starts daydreaming*

The originals havent been released since the 80's or they may ahve still been for sale in the early 90's. than after 97 they started releaseing the updated trillogy. and the DVD's are an even more updated and ****** with version. The obly improvement i like realy was that they changed the emporer in empire.

they where released on dvd in the uk I swear, it was in a black and silver case.

infact here it is, it's been out in the uk for years :S

are you talking about the original unaltered film releases? i thought they were to degraded to do anything with. and that's why they redid them not to long ago. That is what you meant, right?

no the digitally remasterd edition from the 80's is completley different from DVD edition

if by letter boxed you mean widescreen. then your right it aint widescreen ^_^
