Transparent Icons

Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

You should be able to get semitransparent icons as long as the .png from paint.net was semitransparent.

Try adding a new layer and deleting the background layer before you start working, and using colours with 50% alpha.

If you want to change an existing layer, there's an option in layer properties to change layer opacity :D

Hmm, When I tried it myself it did not work, and I can find no info on GIMP being able to make icons that are not 100% opaque.  :pinch:  Sorry dude, I am out of suggestions. :crybaby:

Any chance you know where to find a tutorial?
