Time out for a while

Greetings!

For a while I will not play the game, and at least in the meantime a couple of patches will be out.

My reasons:

- too much work

- too many whining people in the game

- some take the game too seriously, I personally go online to have fun, but there are people  who take it all bloody seriously, or if I am in a team where I am allied with one of my countrymen: Elim, Dexter "who is not ethnic Romanian", it is regarded as unbalanced, cheating, or at best, that we have a huge advantage. Those who we play against are not beginners either. My English knowledge is minimal, compared to me they are professionals, yet even with this advantage they are not able to read the guide that explains all game aspects and they do not even bother to read the toolkits of the ships. I had to discover almost everything on my own, or sometimes I had the opportunity to play/test with Elim or Dexter. Same goes with the tactics. If the others use a bugged tactic it is considered OK, but if we use something like that we are called all sorts of names !!!

- I was told when the opponent lost the game that I cheated. I do not understand how it is possible to cheat in this game

- if we use a new approach, like I go straight to Dreadnought or something similar, I am immediately branded the bad guy. I go online to play, to have fun, and to invent uncommon things, since using always the same strats becomes boring after a while; what some people overly enjoy using, like some slightly "bugged ships spam" (Sang, Rhienn) just so they can win, because they are dead serious to win the game at any cost. I'm not talking about those that are balanced out with a counter in all races and are easy to get resource and production wise, nor am I talking about people who once in a while use these things.

- there are times when they write about me on the forum in an indirect way, they hint toward me, they present the situation partially or add things to spice things up, even going to the point of adding controversial things !

- and lastly the person who does not see himself in this will not write remarks to this ! “Present people not included"

Awww Sutee don't leave if it's just over the Dreadnought thing!

  Someone pointed out the Dreadnought rush strategy and was told basically that there are ways to beat it.  I hope their response to your strategy is not the reason you're leaving .

Yeah, we went through that whole thread, only to find out that people didn't scout you properly.  I like you because you pull off some really funny stuff and it works.  We actually like you.

Sutee do me a favour and define hypocrisy for me, your leaving because your tired of people whining and yet you make this topic to whine.

If your suggesting that your opponents look up game aspects and tool tips ect then they cant be professional in comparison can they? im not sure if its your poor english or if your just stupid because people saying they dont want to play 3 decent players because they are no where near as good doesnt sound unreasonable to me. You say you play for fun well so does everyone else so 3 people who lack experience vs you 3 who have been here a long time is hardly fair and not going to be fun is it.

If you cant understand balance then dont bother coming back.

The only thing I have to say is this.
Have a good life and may you be blessed with whatever you're going to do.
We'll miss you. I really liked you as a player. You were fun to play with on the occasions we played.
Don't bother with the smug and dumb remarks some people put on the boards.

This is sad, I love your unique play style sutee

There are some bad losers here, but most of them don't mean anything by it in a serious way. I know some people who complain and are just kidding in their own way.

I agree with everything everyone else has said, we don't want you to go!

You were always fun to play against.

I believe sutee has demonstrated that he understands balance a whole lot more than you do, Kestrel.

You can't fault a person for being good at the game
You can't fault a person for exploring new strategies, EVEN IF THEY TURN OUT TO BE BROKEN!  This is how the game improves
It's not difficult to say, "Ahh this is frustrating.  You guys are too good, I don't feel like playing against you 3."  Instead you have launched some sort of verbal campaign against sutee and turned this into a personal vendetta.  If there is any kind of behavior we SHOULD NOT tolerate, it is what you are doing with this post.

You can be as angry as you want, that's not a problem.  You can choose to play with different people or ask the Devs to look at the balance of certain units.  But you cannot attack other players like this and remain a part of the community.

Sutee I'm sorry to see you go, our timezones don't match up much so I don't get to play you very often but still...

Hopefully we'll see you back when the next wave of new content hits Fleet Ops  :thumbsup:

Yeah I'll just say it again.

   I used to hate playing with you, Sutee (back in 2009) , but now I love it because you always find a new way to play!  You come up with new and interesting strategies and do them very well.

 I hope that you reconsider and continue to play.  Don't let a few people bother you so much that you don't enjoy it any more .

I think you might mean me regarding this, and if that is true, then I am sorry.

I can see where someone who is not a native English speaker might not interpret my meaning and take it negatively, as I mentioned you in that Dreadnought thread.  I meant to be funny, and maybe Elim can relay what I said a little better?

You're a crafty player, and we have much respect for you.  Again, apologies for anything I said, as I don't want to cause bad feelings.

hi there, listen i know we've only played 1 or 2 games but i just want to put in my 2 cents two this thread.

   I really dislike the fact of losing the oppertunity to play with one od the communitys most unique players, and i'm very sad to see you go. I don't think (even though i don't really have a say here) leaving is the best option, but if this is how you  feel and this is what you think is best for now, then i'm happy for you. Any time somthing becomes boring, un-original, or jjust really wearing on your self, then its time for a change. I just hope you will miss us as much as I know some of us will miss you, your play style, and your antics, and i hope one day sonner than later you find your way back to us.

Laters, and if your ever in the mood for a silly game, just PM me, i like to have games with people who are more concerned with having a good time than winning.

Ill give my opinion on a situation where and when i feel like it so no, you shut the fuck up.

Truth hurts deal with it or use the door so to speak, ther is nothing nice to say in a topic like this.

Btw since when did asking for balance become whinging anyone who says this is just arrogant and needs a good slap...what so only your allowed to have fun....pfff cant believe so many agree with such a stupid point of view.
