Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

That is a cool logo.  It it too bad that he died as early as he did.  Can you imagine what kind of tech he might have thought up if he had 10 or 20 more years? :(  And I don't even like macs. :sweatdrop:

One has to wonder if his successors will continue with his level of creativity and stick to his opinions, e.g. no sd or blu-ray on macs.

I don't know what the fuss is about Steve jobs death. The only thing he knew was marketing.

His products where overpriced for the hardware. Specially when Chinese workers are involved. You need to pay for everything(the reason why there are no sdcard slots) and If there wasn't a jailbreak option less people would have bought an iphone.

So congrats on getting every penny from a persons pocket through you excellent marketing skills.

You do know that he basically invented the modern computer GUI?

it is a sad thing especially when someone dies this 'young' from cancer. i greatly respect him and all the pioneers who made the technology we have available today possible. some people don't realize that there were only a handful of people with a for their time farfetched idea that formed the way we use the computer today. no doubt, steve jobs was one of them.

and yes, before this thread evolves into the ultimate pro and contra iproduct flame thread, as it already implies, i'll lock it down.
