No, you may not go home.  You may continue to troll and post statements of dubious value, thus debasing peer perception of your intellectual currency in the economy of ideas. ;)

I hope I'm missed. :D

So, you're best response is, "I know you are, but what am I?"

You've been around long enough to know that I tend to not suffer fools gladly.  This is mainly because I just like to run intellectual circles around people who are asking for it. ;)

But I also recognize that it’s important for individuals to have a model that demonstrates how to deal with those who unrepentantly act like children while on the internet.  These forums are precious in that there is an amazing degree of freedom of speech allowed that does not exist on other sites.  Other forums are either over-regulated, and so people don’t post due to fear of moderation; or under-regulated, where anarchy reigns.  Anarchy forums usually have an abnormal amount of profanity, vulgarity, and general stupidity (I usually call this Liberalism, but one must be diplomatic at times :D)

This forum doesn't have that, because the general idea is that we police ourselves.  It’s actually pretty Conservative/Libertarian in approach.  However, this means that the responsibility is on us to demonstrate and enforce how to behave.  It requires people to step up to the plate and tackle bullies, both online and in our day-to -day lives.  If we don’t, then the only other regulating body that can do this is the government (heavy moderation), and it will take away the very freedoms we cherish.

Again, with people who overstep their bounds, you always want to give them options.

Option one:  Allow them the opportunity to man up, own their mistake and move on.  I know that I overstep a lot, but I also know that I want to be ready to apologize for trespassing on someone else.

Option two:  If they won’t apologize, allow them to simply walk away without saying anything. :ermm:

Option three:  Continue to leave openings that allow them to demonstrate their ignorance….and make them look the fool…

Options One and Two do require some humor, or at least some form of congeniality.  It’s really easy for feelings to get hurt on the net, so getting your point across requires that you not be so pointed. :innocent:

Option Three might seem mean at the outset, but if you don’t stop tyranny in its tracks, it will spread.  Evil triumphs when good men do nothing, and all that.

As far is Israel goes, it’s been great.  Extremely hard, but great.  Being in the old city of Jerusalem is without description.  The language is pretty hard to learn.  If I had gone to Germany, I probably would have been close to fluent within a year.  Not so here.  The conjugation structure is just so different.  In English, we just add helping verbs and participles for the most part, and call it a day.  Here, all of that is included within the verb itself, but the pronunciation then becomes different (seemingly arbitrarily).

Also, coming from a language that doesn’t care if something is masculine or feminine to one that does is a pretty big deal.  In German, if I screw up Der/Die/Das, it’s not the end of the world.  It’s more significant in Hebrew.  When I get some more time, I’ll write a post about it, for sure.

Since being here, I’ve found myself to be a really big Ron Paul supporter.  If you’re more politically minded, you should youtube search “Reality Check” with Ben Swann, and “matlarson10”.  Some good stuff there.

And while I was writing:
Sorry you didn't like the videos, hellodean.  It is kind of a niche market.  If you don't know about the candidate or don't like him, then I can see where it's not as fun. :(  I do encourage people search him up though.  He's often slandered by people who don't know anything about him except what they get from the mainstream media, but he's the only one who will get us out of financial mess we're in.  I could have put up a sign saying that they're more relevant for Americans, but Dr. Paul has supporters from around the world! :hungry:

Next time I promise to put up a video of Scarlett Johansan in her Black Widow costume.  That might get more positive results. :D

Those were actually pretty good.  You're right though, they're a bit strange if you don't know who Ron Paul is.  Or Tron Paul, as he is better known in some secret circles  :shifty:

sounds like ron paul is more popular in israel than the usa. maybe he should take on benjamin netanyahu instead of obama.

He's actually SUPER popular in the States, but you won't hear it from the mainstream media.  Both Romney and Obama are funded by Goldman Sachs, Citygroup, and other big financial institutions.  The powers that be do not want sheeple to know about this man.

Here's two more quick videos.  I swear that they'll be the last videos I embed until the next time I do it. :whistling:

if he's so popular then how comes he didn't win many of those primary things going on a while back?

if he's the popular candidate he'll win votes. more likely is that he's not popular because as you say, he doesn't have the support of any large companies to up his profile. things like this demonstrate why politics has become a dirty word.

françois hollande just won the french presidential election with 80% turnout (first round). turnout like that is crazy compared to the UK, where we struggle to get over 60% for the bigger elections and languish below 50 in the local elections. why do french people still care about their politics? françois hollande originally wasn't gonna stand, he replaced a politician accused of crimes (dominque strauss-kahn). their politicians seem as corrupt as everyone else's.

We're finding out that there is a lot of voter fraud.  Harder to prove in a simple, winner-take-all primary.  But caucuses have more transparency, because you're not pulling a lever on a machine, but actually voting to elect a person.  Rachel Maddow and others have reported on this.  Caucuses that sent their votes to the state/county offices all of a sudden found that there's a zero by their groups name.  Or the votes we're completely wrong.  They're told by the RNC to not publicly count the votes, but some people did that, and that's how we know the numbers are wrong.

The Associated Press numbers for delegates are completely favoring Romney, and they gave him a bunch of delegates, even though the delegates haven't been selected, or we've found out that Ron Paul actually has delegates that the AP claims are Romney's.

The other factor is the fact that there are a ton of Romney delegates who are stealth Ron Paul supporters.  Under the rules of the RNC that will be held in Tampa to decide the nominee, the people who are bound to Romney can technically abstain or vote present, thus keeping Romney from getting the magic 1144 votes he needs.  Once everyone becomes unbound on the second ballot (about 25% are unbound even on the first), then everyone can vote for Ron Paul, and there WILL be a majority of people who will do so.

It's all very confusing, and I haven't explained it very well, but there is definitely a chance that Ron Paul could be the nominee.  Basically, what you need to know:

-Ron Paul is awesome. :P
-He is very popular, but you won't hear that on TV
-The rEVOLution will not be televised.
-There's voter fraud going on, and Paul Supporters are doing everything they can to get a fair shake.
-Things at the final convention in Tampa, FL will be very, very interesting...

And don't take my word for it.  There are tons of videos on the guy.

Ok, enough about Paulitics.  Oh Scarlett Johansen!!!!
