I'd be fine with buying access to the STO beta but only if the subscription was for STO itself.

Hmmm... even I can imagine some better lookin 24th century starships!

The 'classified' ship looks fine to me, but the other featured ships look UGLY!

Agh....... Someone give me a easy to use modeling program so I can give them some better lookin ships! Hmph... never mind, I'd probably get sued anyway.

ehem...sorry about that, I can't wate for them to FINALLY releast this.  It looks to be an awesome game.  They just set the standards a little low with only two playable races.

I am not liking the Klingon ships.  There not TNG ugly but they still lack that good old D7 design which in my opinion is still the best looking Klingon ship ever.  it literally screamed don't mess with me.  All they would have had to do is paint an angry face on the from like a WWII fighter and it would have been the baddest ship is space.  Heck even the Romulans started using it, its literally the AK-47 of star ships.

However, I am really loving the new Excalibur class, a nod to the constitution class, sweet enough for me to really get excited about this game.  Not liking the Olso class, but I have never like the  oval shaped primary hulls, looks smeared to me, one of the reasons I did not like the Ent D very much.

What is up with the prices? Why some Klingon is probably going to barge into the offices tehre and throw someone against the wall while screaming all sorts of Klingon insults which shouldn't be translated. I was hoping that the prices would be cheap, they're so bloody expensive I won't be able to play unless there is a free version coming out, which I highly doubt. The ships are sort of cool. Some are a lot better than others.

Did they not get the license for the ships o.O? I noticed every federation ship was something right out of a bad 3-d modeling program, not even kitibash bad, just... bad. Have they not given this to Star Trek Fans and gone "So there are no canon designs, and even though that seems to be the single most common complaint about star trek, we were wondering what you thought?"

Although no-one said that only subscribers to "Champions" get access to the beta. Those people get "Guarenteed acces".
