How long does an average game last? Like how much time do you spend in each stage etc

You can spend as much time as you want in each stage... it also depends on the difficulty you set. I got thru cell stage in 20 minutes on normal... and then re-did to get all the parts (on hard) in 2 hours. So it is hard to determine "how long" the game lasts. Creature stage is definitely the longest (aside from space stage which seems like it will never end on hard... and I don't believe it ever does)... and can take a few hours depending on difficulty if you want to make you "perfect" creature (and thus find all the parts.)

Cellstage tops half an hour, creature stage somewhere between half an hour to two hours, tribestage around half an hour and the same with civ phase if your playing around on hard. You can stay aslong as you want in eatch stage as Dominus are saying but then you arent playing the game. In your first playthrough you may take more time in creaturestage to find all parts, but other that that there isisnt much to play for.

They have achievements in the which require to complete phases in a certain amount in time and  their easily done. Cell stage 8 minutes, creature phase in 1 hour, tribal in 20 minutes and the civ phase in 1 hour.

I find it dissapointing that you can't find another sort of mouth in the creature phase.
So if you start like a carnivore, you can't change to a herbivore or a omnivore.

Krael you can actually if you spend time collecting enough parts so the other sets has to be filled out, but its terribly boring.

Really? I got every other part in the creature stage, but I couldn't ind any other mouths than the herbivore type. Every bonestack I got still find were empty. I also befriended every creature I could.

I was able to do it so it should work for you aswell. It seems that you can only start new sets by befriending/attacking others and that the skeletons only gives you parts from sets the game sees as "open" or "not empty". I got the message that there isint any new parts to collect when i was digging up a skeleton, but i still got new parts by attacking other creatures and were able to continue getting parts from skeletons after that.

It may be another spore bug but try it out and see.

I was reading its posable to import external meshes in to spore from maya The meshes that you can make seem to be a bit unprecise they are hard to work with

example:

YouTube - Spore USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A)

What is your expertness?

It may be more worth it after som expansions if they add more gameplay and futures to use in gameplay, but i dont think so.
