well this time i am being serious, it could just be thrown at a game company, and if we dont like what comes out of it, well either way, more people, and beter stuff to mod

um a game company would prolly turn it down for lacking broad appeal and if they did they would screw it up so bad that we would not want the fleet operations name on it.

Ray, I'm sorry that you don't seem to realise this, but it is impossible. This game has a Star Trek theme, which is a franchise (a very successful one at that), which means it is ridiculously difficult and expensive to get a license in order to sell the game.

If everyone on this forum put $1000 it probably wouldn't be enough to pay for the license, considering the circumstances of development.

And there is no way, as I have said on another thread - to you - that the small FlOps team can match the output of a fully-fledged gaming company. Things wouldn't go fast enough for the majority of the gaming market.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but we have to be realistic.

even the bigest company could not release Fleet Operations without the proper licenses (thats not only the star trek license, Activision still owns the rights on the name Star Trek Armada).

Thats a decision the dev team should make and we declined to, as we will never give Fleet Operations out of our hands, its our baby after all. please accept that..
