Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

oh boy he shoulda stuck to acting, at least we tolerated his terrible acting cos of star trek, even devoted tos fanboys find it hard to tolerate shatner's "unique" style of ear trauma.

I watched the first minute and already had enough. I don't really think I need to comment on this, Myles said it for me.

Um... interesting, I suppose... wait, what? ???
On the other hand, its kinda amusing that Shatner would do this. Either that or he's just hurting for money ;) He's still pretty cool though, a few of his books were somewhat entertaining, and he was great in Generations.

I'll agree that the VAST majority are a piece of crap, but there were a few that were interesting. Although, his novels did serve to prove how obsessed witth himself he was ;)

lol, his Trek ones always make kirk out as the hero and Picard as his lackey.

I've only read the one with the mirror universe Voyager and the steeling of Voyager. I must say that one wasn't too bad for a Shatner book. My wife can't stand the guy prefering Chris Pine as Kirk, I happen to agree Pine makes a better Kirk, keeps true with the original character but brings in something new and is I feel a better Kirk all round. Notice that Kirk kept his shirt on in Trek 11?  :D

i prefer pine as well, he doesnt ham it up nearly as much as shatner. although i still am ok with shatner as original kirk, he was there first, and in many ways was the first to represent trek.
