Has any one here heared about that new search thats going on? its was all over UK news last week, basicly what they are doing is they are getting users to install a program on there computer and it downloads radio frequencys on to that computer and analyes it, so baiscly instead of having 10 computewrs in a lab do it they have a few million computers alll over the world doing it, the website can be found at Image i myself am doing this, all it does is install a small program on your computer and lets you get on with doing what ever, i only runs when in a screen saver or when you open it.

I intalled SETI@home about 3 years ago, made about 600h of computer time working on Seti calculations, completed about 140 units.

Oh and btw, this signal that was on news is the best known candidate for ET conntact.
The thing is that other telescopes have to confirm that signal too. When that happens we can tell that we catched interesting signal could has signes of extra terrestrial inteligence.
