Replaying the Dominion Wars (discussion)

ok that is the basic idea:
We as a forum community are replaying the preface of the war. Everybody who takes place is assigned a role according to the typical Mafia roles "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(game)"by the devs. The Devs assign some people beings traitors, spys and anybody else and regulate the night/day rhythm as impartial observers,
This is merely a suggestion and your inputs are most heartedly welcomed

1. Why should the devs sacrifice even more of their time with observing a forum-rpg?

2. Why should we as the community sacrifice our gaming-/modding-time for it?

3. How is this supposed to be fun? By the way: Fleet Operations is post-Dominion war so it doesn't make sense to go through this again.
