so who's a fan of red dwarf? it returns tonight for its 10 series!

i hope its as good as it used to be

you beat me to this thread, it's my favourite show, so glad it's back, and glad they've returned to the winning formula of series I through VIII (back to earth was still good, but i prefer the original formula).

biggest mistake the beeb ever made was dropping red dwarf.

the writing of the new series is very high quality.

yeah i thought that aswel. i read earlier that..

"The show was never axed: production was paused in 1999 to prep a feature film and when funding fell through during pre-production, BBC2 had a new controller and Red Dwarf was out of favour."

i still havnt watched it yet, but of the screen shots iv seen im not sure about krytens head, looks abit "bo-selecta" compaired to previous versions

watched it now, it was great. but the kryten head is still abit odd for me. but yeah hilarious!

i think that was my favourite gag in the entire episode, where even cat outsmarts rimmer. i also liked the subtle reference to Peterson, as the book was in his quarters.

If you look at Robert Llewellyn now and compare how he looked the last time RD was on tv you'll probably understand why Kryten looks different.

However, its about time the dam series was back on in its proper format...........
