Possible way out for FO/armada 2

I believe last time somebody asked if FO was going to switch over to Legacy we got...

Well that answers that question.

Wasn't there talk about getting armada II on STEAM, so that people woulden't have to pay $500 for a CD or look for legal loopholes?

Now that would be great, however since Activision no longer hold the rights to Star Trek games (after that stupid lawsuit during the early run of ENT) I don't know if this will happen.

It would certainly bring the entire community to a new life.   For better or worse.   But I think FO would get an amazing amount of new players.

One can hope this would happen, but since when has Activision been kind enough to allow this?
