It was Clintons fault because: Somalia, October 3rd, 1993. The 75th Ranger Regiment, elements of Delta Force, and the 16th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment) were sent into the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu to capture the warlord Aidid. The mission was initially successful but then a MH-60 Blackhawk helicopter was shot down by an RPG-7 manned by what we now know was an Al-Quaeda trained somalie. Delta Force and some Ranger chalks were sent to secure crash site when a second Blackhawk was shot down by another RPG. Our troops fought for 15 hours against thousands of Somalie militia until an armored convoy arrived and got them out. 18 soldiers died and thousands of Somalies were killed or injured.

Afterwards, Clinton pulled us out of Somalia completely leaving millions to starve because all the other countries also left the humanitarian effort. This showed Osama bin Laden that you can make us leave a place by inflicting a few casualties. This led to the bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Then to the Cole, and on to 9/11.

In short, Clinton was ultimately responsible.

It shows Clinton was responsible, and when did 80 of ours die? We did the right thing in Iraq, OVER 20 MILLION PEOPLE are now alot freer then they were. It was bad intelligence which led to Iraq at first tho. It was never the presidents fault. If you do then your bias because your a democrat, nothing more. We have only lost slightly more then a thousand soldiers. These numbers are phenominal because in Vietnam we lost 58,000. WWII like 400,000, although I don't like to talk about people as statistics, this war was incredibly bloodless for our side.

we lost 18 troops and like 50 wounded. Also extremely good considering what happened.

Lumpy, we never had Osama cornered. He got away from Afghanistan in a car convoy before we ever entered Afghanistan, this was prooven by satillites.
