I ran into
this website, P3D, on another modding community I'm part of and thought I'd pass it on here too for anyone who might be interested. It's a pretty cool site and my other community used it quite a bit for showcasing what people are making.
You set up an account (which can be free or paid; the paid ones get slightly more features) where you can upload wavefront (.OBJ) models with their textures, and the website presents it as a model you can view in 3D with a link you can use to share it on posts (the post gives a picture of the model with the link; paid ones can embed the model viewer but the pictures you get with free are not bad either).
