Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

OK im looking for a game, it was on a commodore 64, ths floppy for it had 4 or 5 games on it and one was Star Trek. the game looked as follows.
Blue screen with a wight grid, the enterprize was a 2D image that you gave orders to buy entering numdered command, EX: Red Alert = 1 green alrt =2 and so on and so on. you were shooting at klingon ships, that were in 2D as well and you also could dock at space statoins...and shoot at them. he he he. so any ideas? been surching for days.

there are some emulators and roms out there, with them u can play all the old stuff, like from: c64, gameboy, nes, snes, megadrive, saturn, n64, and so on... try google "emulator c64" and explore new worlds of old games

Starfleet Regulation 452 Paragraph 3 Number 2: Drinking coffee while working on terminals is to be avoided if not absolutely necessary. Such sitiuations would include the whole crew falling asleep and you being the only one to steer the ship to safety. Number 3: Number 2 may also be applied on lemonade and tea.

On topic: That game sounds familiar... I once had something like that for Windows 3.1, but I lost it. Was fun to play, you were steering the Enterprise NCC-1701 through a map with sectors. You could go on impulse within the sectors and by warp, you could travel from sector to sector. There was docking on starbases to repair, the three alert conditions, firing photons and phasers (you had to give the direction you wanted to fire), many different enemies and so on.

Can anyone remember that one?

Much older, much simpler, 2d grid based. It's a graphic based variant of a TOS game that existed under DOS and followed the same idea.

Perhaps Super Star Trek was the ASCII one... in the meantime I found out, what the one for Windows 3.1 was called: It's "Wintrek".

It's freeware now, you can get it here and have a look by your own:
