Thx been working on it for the last few months getting all the part together, the led chaser came from Burgas, Bulgaria, and the touchscreen device came from HongKong. it's been a worldwide effort lol - T

SOOO cool. I love it. That would be like a dream for me to have. A tricorder with a touchscreen....whew. And the stealth black, SO awesome. The LEDs look awesome as well. Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Now what you have to do is make an interactive LCARS system (or even an OS) rather than just play animations and maybe incorporate a flash card reader or something so that you could actually do something with it. If you were really clever you could design it to record video or take pictures or something. Wow, if you really worked at it, there are a lot of places you could take this. When I know how and have nothing better to do with my life I am definitely building my own tricorder.

thx guys, If the touchscreen device was shockwave based then making it interactive would work. But it's not. you can only play movie and music and view pics and stuff. i've got the science one, and 2 medical ones. I'm gonna make the 3 different kinds of tricorders. The science, Medical & Engeering tricorders. it might take me awhile but i will make them.
