Which type of Zombie do you reckon would be most dangerous; undead Humans or virus-infected Humans? Not 'which is the original ones' or 'which are most realistic', but the most dangerous.

I'd say the virus-type for 2 main reasons; they don't have the limits of the undead (they can run, undead ones can't) and virus's can mutate, undead don't.

I'd say version 2 as well - mainly because it'd probably spread more easily. The Undead ones, you'd have to die first, but the virus ones could spread just from a touch, or being nearby....

I'm going to say virus. With the virus kind, you can be transformed just by being touched or bitten (depending on the virus type) while the undead kind need to die first. Undead zombies, however, do have the advantage of being able to take more punishment because they don't need all those vital organs. If you down an undead one, though, you don't need to worry about being changed just by being near it like you would with a viral type. So, undead ones could be more dangerous in a fight, but viral ones are more likely to turn you.

I'll go with the runners too. They hunt you relentlessly and don't seem to be affected by fatigue. Eventually, you'll be caught unless you can either kill them back or put an impenetrable barrier between you. You'd have to be pretty stupid to be caught by a walker, even if there are many of them.

Ummmm....the virus from the first movie, 28 Days Later.....I mean, that's my all time favorite zombie.  Spitting and puking blood and puss....all but hacking up internal organs with ripped flesh and all sortso f stuff coming out of and hanging off their bodies.  Hands down, best zombies ever!
