But hey at least you're not in Australia, were they censor the Internet and consider a china a role model for net neutrality.

Yeah, I had those too for a few years in the early 90s I remember.
We kept getting ones that were still frozen, plus they made great messes, and we'd occasionly take the frozen milk out of the bag and hide it in odd places and create god awful smells. I miss my 2nd grade class at times, it was fun.

in the uk our milk usually comes in recyclable plastic bottles.
cartons usually contain long life milk that doesnt need to be stored cold.
bottles contain milk that milkmen deliver, daily, so its fresher, but costlier.
bagged milk is also sold at supermarkets, you buy your own plastic box container, that is washable, and only buy bags of milk, which saves on packaging and helps the planet.

No i dont remember, i remember almost nothing from that time, though lol. I doubt my primary school would give out milk, it was a school for children with special needs.
I'm sure there are cartons of non long life milk, but they are special, i was mainly looking at buying milk

It's 'enviromentaly sound'
You get a bag with milk in it and a little air, and a pointy plastic straw, and have to try to poke a hole in it with the straw, and drink it like that.
I mainly remember it was messy and generaly a pain.

Sounds like Capri Sun but with milk rather than juice.

We had these in Germany, too. They've been canceled, though since people didn't really like it. Now there is only tetra pak or glas bottles.

tetra pak is used mainly for juices here.
the bags of milk will probably die here as well soon, as they cost more than the bottled milk. i'm all for saving the planet and not pissing off al gore, but i'm a poor needy student with no money to frit away on such whims.

The ones I've seen were just cheap clear plastic bags that were kept frozen until thawed for use, but that was back in the early 90s.
