  For those of you who do not recognize it, the "Abominable Monster" that is Megadroid's Avatar is the funny little guy from an old game released with some other microsoft games called "SkiFree".

  It was a great little simple game made by some joker for fun whose friend (conveniently working for MicroSoft) then saw it over his shoulder and suggested Microsoft buy it from him and package it in their little entertainment bundles.

  I had a friend who bought some sort of PC from Circuit City or some nonsense when we were like 10 in '95 and this came with it.  You just ski downhill and avoid things and hit jumps until a certain period when this funny Yeti thing comes running out and eats you .

I used to have that game on an older computer. I completely forgot it existed.

Maybe one, but more will appear and if you hit anything they'll catch up. In many ways SkiFree is a metaphor for life (and death).
