I thought this movie looked like the shittiest thing ever: guess I was right! I mean, the whole storyline is crap, and the entire thing smacks of a "left behind" style film. Lol, a solar flare?

Woo, predestination!
Good thing I never saw it  :sweatdrop:

Adm. Zaxxon, there are plenty of Christians on this site--if you want evidence, take a look at any of the religious debates that are floating around here ;). Why should that make you glad? You aren't happy that there are Muslims, Hindus etc?

Why shouldn't it make me Glad?  I'm happy this can be a religiously diverse site, without me even noticing.  I am glad it doesn't interfere in conversations and arguments, where sadly it happens too often on other sites.

All these things and more make me happy?  And why should they not?

Why does that annoy you?! Plenty of movies end like that, especially apocolyptic ones.

I really feel like insulting some people's religious beliefs now 'cause I'm in a grumpy mood, but I'll refrain XD

EDIT: "glad it doesn't interfere in conversations and arguments"
Basically that's why.

Yes, in risk of inciting religious debate ( :innocent:) that very statment ("I am glad it doesn't interfere in conversations and arguments, where sadly it happens too often on other sites.  ") Zaxxon proves that it does interfere in conversations--as you saw a need to bring it up with the "glad statement"!

@Exodus, indeed, plenty of movies end like that--especially ones with such a Judeo/Christian religious overture in fact :whistling: (I mean, common, tree in the background with innocents running forward?!)

i watched i in the cinema and was loving it till the ghosts were replaced with Aliens who decided to reinact noah's ark instead of just warn us 100 years earlier and help us...

the writers obviously got lazy and couldnt be bothered to come with a ghostly reason why the children could see things, or how the girl could tell what date things would happen, hell or even be othered to explain why black pebbles would magiclaly appear every where the originally ghosts then aliens were...

what a big load of crock, i wish you could be refunded if a film is utter bollocks!

Oh man, that'd be the day! I guess people would claim its crud, even if it ain't... wooo, then you'd have to file a form out stating under oath that it was bad

I meant this somewhat as a joke, because it is quite obvious that it does come in alot.

Any way, personally It all depends on the movie.  It the movie is good, and all the people die in the end, then it doesn't matter.  But if the movie is average, it is just one more reason why you hate your self for spending your money on it.

Agreed. Now if we just had a movie about the Borg assimilating everybody...   :assimilate:

So I waste 10 Dollas on a movie thats supposed to be good. Which it was very exiting at the beggining. Most of the story is him trying to save people, but not only does he not save some poeple, but everyone dies (including him). Its like watching First Contact and the End is where the Borg assimilated everything. Or watching the DS9 series and the end is where the dominion rush the Federation, kill all the main charachters, and occupy the alpha quadrant. But Dont worry, the Voyager is in the Delta Quadrant so everythings gonna be ok!!! Not only did the movie do all these things, I HAD TO PAY $10 FOR IT!!!!

Yah! I would watch that! Actually... I'd watch anything Star Trek, even if it sucked, and still love it. Well just watch it
