Is the Generix actually the Raptor?

Is the Generix class actually the Raptor Class vessel? I can't help but think how similar they appear, especially the unrefitted one.

Unlikely... the early K't'inga (D7) is probably the only Klingon design the Romulans got.

You're talking about the one that was the artillery ship for the romulans in A2?  They do look similar.

Yeah. But, think "Constitution-Class Refit" vs. "Enterprise Class", or Topmey vs. K'tinga. Same vessel, same design, but, in the Topmey's case, different purpose.

nope they are not the same, the generix is (at the moment) some sort of small kitbash of dderidex parts, but it will get its own design in the future (but it will still be similar to the current one).

The Raptor is planned for a point in the future
