actually its possible to convert into jpg without quality loss, just the programm needs to be the right one. Most tools save only with 90% quality

the only problem ßis that you may lose the alpha channel and certain layers with the conversion, so that it is more difficult to manipulate the image afterwards.

i dont know about any of that, my test was purely for screenies of fo. which seems to work fine. for other stuff i can make no claims.
