Hey guys im back, i was gone for a long time, so could sombody give me a summary of what exatcly has happend, paticularly in any fed releated developments

Well, well, welcome back 

So, what happend is
the Sovy got four quantom torps, burst-fire, multitargeting phasers and ablative armor as a special, the warp-in has been changed to fleets of five ships (including Galaxy X) and is now buildable right from the start, the Defiant got a boost and three of them are now able to trash a Cube, not to mention whole Dominion fleets 



Wrong game...

I recommend the news for more useful information since they pretty much sum it up since that's what they are posted for

I think you were gone since 3.05a: so to sumarize, the Borg became more enjoyable and actually play like the Borg now, the Feds still remain the strongest of the factions, the GUI updates and general 3.0.8 patch is quite heavily underway... Oh, and almost everybody has migrated to Hamachi.

Okay, then a few questions as i will soon install the new version,

#1 did 3.08 come out yet?

#2 so no new rom ship, and no new vessals or stations for anybody right?

#3 any changes to the hero ships?

#4 campaign?

#5 when is fed redo gonna happpen?

#6 what hamachi servers, isnt it only 16 players?

#7 any sort of planets?

#8 any npc races, mercenaries?

#9 game anyone?

sure ok. Btw, we allready need a new hamachi network. So I guess we are up to FLOPS4 (network). Password: FLOPS4. And whoever created FLOPS3, could I have the password?

#1 3.0.8 is not out yet but I feel it will be here soon.

#2 The Borg got the Detector ship, other then that all I know is a new Romulan ship is planned but nothing new so far.

#3 As far as I know Veteran ships are the same since they were released but not specific hero ships are planned.

#4 I've hunted for information about this. As far as I know there has been no tools released yet that allows people to script single player missions so the FO team plans on making such tools after all the multiplayer aspects of FO are finished.

#5 I'm not sure when a Fed overhaul is planned sadly. 

#6 As far as Hamachi goes I'm on FLOPS2, Fleetops V3, Red Baron's Den, and apparently FLOPS4 just opened up today

#7 No new planets yet.

#8 I've pestered the FO team here and there about NPC races. The final response Optec gave me was, "we are at the moment working on some other new features, but the first NP races are planed for a patch for version 3  "
I did release a small mod that added an NPC race into the game though: Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - The unofficial Species 9341 as an NPC race addon

As far as mercs go it says they are 'planned for a future patch' so that could mean anything from 3.0.8 to 5.0

#9 When the next patch is out I'll be online to play FO far more often.

#2 Don't forget the Ambassador Class for the Fed Warp-In which was introduced in 3.0.7.

Just read the last 3 newscasts and you should be set Ray.

If you have downloaded the commercial version of Hamachi (free for some number of days) it will give you access to create 40 member networks.

One thing people are leaving out are the Noxter: you can start seeing the work being done on the faction now.

@ Funnystuff, I think the FLOPS3 account is only 16 member. The info was posted on another of your threads...
