On saturday night I went to a small restaurant in my home town and there was a guy playing his guitar with another dude also playing his guitar. After a while I realized this guy was an exception - a great exception. It felt like the guitar was somehow part of his body...like it was his heart. He was playing that fast and accurate that I felt stunned - everyone did! I wondered why such a person would waste his time in a small restaurant for no money and so few people. I think they do because they love music, not the money. Actually there was a big Jazz festival going on the other day where he would play at. I really feel honored to have met these guys by accident. Jan Vanek Vacek and his friend and play mate Laurent Dujin. Later I heard that Jan Vanek is playing almost every music instrument known on this planet. He doesn't sell CD records. They just play live.
