Greetings All

I have been playing Fleet Ops for a while vs the AI. With work I don't have much time for online. Well this year, buy the gods, I am going to try and change that 'cause I love this freakn game. I even have an original A2 disc around here some where that I got years ago......I digress.

After much research I realize that I am going to need a gaming headset (team-speak) and I am looking for ideas on which one's are worth it. My budget is around the $50 dollar range.

Call sign "Red Shirt 1"

Thank you in advance and look forward to future battles.

P.S. Yandonman, nice commentaries. Keep'em comin.

i own this:
http://www.amazon.com/Creative-HS-800-Fatal1ty-Gaming-Headset...

it's only USD35 but it's comfortable, and the sound quality is great (both playback and recording). i don't notice i'm wearing it unless i've been wearing it all day.

Hey there! Glad you love the game!

The one I was most happy with was Medusa Speedlink. They are very comfortable, robust and have a superb quality (micro and sound).

The Fatality is really not that bad for it's price, as long as it's about some gaming and mostly communication.

But if you're looking for anything with a decent audio quality, and if you're just slightly audiophile, you can basically forget all the gaming crap, and your budget as well.

Thanks for all the input

I wound up getting the Turtle Beach X12's. Pretty happy so far.
