Fastrak Bios Not Installed?!?

I always get that message whenever I turn on my computer it sais

No drive attached to Fastrak controller. The BIOS is not installed

What the heck does that mean and how do I fix it?????

i agree more infor mation is needed.


1. do you have eny uther werd probloms.

1.5 place michin eny thing new instoled resantily or uninstoled.

2. when your computer starts up is it slower than your usted to.

3. eny probloms with the time on your computers clock?

4. or eny thing elss that you wont to michon that is RELATED TO YOUR COMPUTER.

could you tell use more about your computer? like what brand, age, and specs? oh and what led up to the prob. lol

you cood triy upgrating you bios. this is a sugechon of some thing that cood work. it cood cose for probloms i dont know. but if it was me i whood triy that.

sins i am not thatre and can not see it i can not give you enamy realy help.






upgrading a bios is dawn loding the newsist vshon from the web and instoling it.
thare are difrant tipes of bios and difrant tipe of bios file. i am not sher what to sugest in the whay of a new bios upgrade. - if this is what you choce to do.

hum....what is this Fastrak? and dose the computer accluy startup or dose it jsut stop?

ewm90, I tried to do that, but ppl told me not to unless I knew exactly what I am doing, and updating it might casue more problems.

well.. it starts up, sais the message, and I can just do whatever business I do on my comp, it crashes more frequently..... thats the only thing

ok you need to find out what Fastrak is. Go to My Computer (im assuming this is a Windows PC) and right click then go to Properties, click on the Hardware Tab and then in the middle of the screen there is the Device Maniger open that up and find Fastrak from there you can even open Fastrak propertys and maby DL drivers and such for it.

it just means you have a raid controller and nothing attached to it. nothing to worry about.
