but it this way i just think its your head stopping your mind going dead, it needs to keep it active so it comes up with a random story; 9/10 my dreams are kinda releated to what has happend, and if i really think about my dream i can useually releate it to something else that has happend or i have been thinking of.

Put it this way the dream i remember the most happend about a day or so after i discovered how Wolverine got his claws (i was like 10 ) a few nights later i was in the cryo chamber ... i was wolverine or someone in the same boat, it was a good and gorey dream till i got shot, the fact that i got shot was the reason i remeber this dream as it was and still is the only dream where i was in pain, and belive me it fucking hurt.

I love sex dreams espically when you have them and wake up and think to yourself ... "I never thought she was hot ... but I do now!!!" lol

Once I was shot by a russian terrorist in a shed near my place. I was a hostage and tried to protect my girl friend who was behind me. Actually... it was a strange feeling because when this guy shot me in my head between my eyes I didn't feel anything... I expected to feel a bad pain or something but there was just this dumb, warm feeling in the moment of when the projectile hit me.... but there was no blood. There was just this hole like the Borg did with Data in First Contact... such a hole not bleeding not hurting at all. From then on this dream became odd somehow and I started to wake up. Maybe that's why I can remember it. It was a very strange dream.

Same things happen when I fall down stairs ... I expect to feel it but then there is just nothing. No pain... but sometimes when I was a child and I had such a dream I was actually falling out of my bed and in the right moment I hit the ground in real life I also hit the ground in my dream... that was a sensational awakening I can tell you! ;) It was just about 50 cm though but it quite hurt. Anyways I must have dreamed this dream in the few seconds while I fell out of my bed. Many dreams last a very short time in real life but can last a much longer time in the dream itself.

Dreaming for me is the brain's attempt to sort things out you experienced te last day, depends on how "traumatic" your experience was. Often you dream a strange mix out of many things you can remember you experienced the day before or what you are going to experience (e.g. if you are thinking so much about the exam you have to pass in the following week). Dreaming is a fix part of our psychology. If you can't dream you go crazy.

Once, i had this weird dream,  I was in my gym class, and we were all sitting down in our lines, but we weren't in the gym, we were in a 1944 town, all shelled and asploded and such.  And we weren't in the gym uniforms, but in World War 2 American uniforms with the proper equipment.  There were some explosions, and small arms fire off in the distance.  It ended when it suddenly went to an American sniper on a rooftop trying to plug a german sniper at the edge of the city.  But the American sniper wasn't a sniper, but a man-sized Jadgpanzer tank destroyer.

Another one is that suddenly, my house was in the middle of a field, and it was flooding.  We got everything out, except for my cat Hairball.  Suddenly, the poilce arrived and said Hairball was a wanted terrorist, and had plans to put the entire town underwater.  so i dived into the house, which was filled with water, and went swimming on for what seemed like hours, looking for Hairball.  When it reached the basement, there was no water in it. and Hairball was there, standing on two legs, with a friggin black beret on, smoking a cigar, and she said something, i don't remember what, but it was wth one of those silly super french accents, and then the police took her away.  vary strange.

Dreaming is the conscious/subconscious manifestation of  the Brain trying to repair the neurons and connections that were damaged or degraded during the day, to bypass those no longer needed, and forging connections with the new thingys that were made relating to memories.

Good job I'm no longer a Jehovah's Witness, having been an atheist/garden fairy agnostic for a short while now, otherwise I might have been offended. Actually I found the joke a little bit amusing, since I'm now a master at providing the "unexpected answer".  :sweatdrop:

Just remember guys and girls that we all get raised a certain way, and that if you have been raised in a particular religion, it takes courage, and a lot of thought, to break away from it. Jehovah's Witnesses are human too, and many of them will one day feel rather embarrassed that they went knocking on doors out of a misplaced sense of duty and obligation.
