I hope you don't mind me opening a new music related thread as myleswolfers already has one, yet this one is a different category, at least for me, as I would like to collect here classical music.

Now some of you might say, it has a place in his thread, but I consider classical a whole other level of music, as all we know today's every genre is derived from it. Do you listen to classical at all ? If you have a favorite please post a link to a youtube video.
One other request would be that you post the link and not embed it as I would request that you give the highest quality link possible (1080p or 720p), and that will slow down the loading time of the page.

Post a youtube video (or similar) of a classic you like (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Antonio Vivaldi, and all the others you know of). Please avoid giving links to something that has been posted already.
Many of these where used in cartoons, games, so I would also like you to name (if you know any) where you heard it.

I really enjoyed Homeworld where I heard Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, and here's the link to it in 1080p, that I found after searching a bit.

Thank you in advance.

you should make clear what other periods other than classical and romantic you are willing to accept, like would u accept baroque?

canon in D is baroque :p

your own piece adagio for strings is from 1936, over a century after the classical period ended.

here are the rough times

Baroque (1600–1760)
Classical (1730–1820)
Romantic (1815–1910)
