Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Donaudampfschifffahrtskapitänsmützenbandbefestigungsknopf

Hm... or that strange name of a village of Wales... just don't know how to spell it. :)

Of course, as you said, chemistry is always good for long words.

Edit:

Ah, yes, that's officially the place with the longest name in Europe:

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

It's welsh and describes where the place is.
Translation is:

"'St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave"

The funny thing: I've already been there. :D

well not the official name for it because several components are mentuioned twice and that is then differently named.

if you have 2 methyl groups on propane then you don't have

methylmethylpropane but dimethylpropane

and that virus is made out of several components. acetyl, glutmin, seryl and tyrosyl ( DNA)

You actually read that? :S

I take ewms word for it :D

nah, just glanced through it and noticed it. It is simple dna not even the biggest one even :D because a virus has one of the smallest chains.

yep you are correct but the instead of calling it carbon dioxide it is called carbon oxiide oxide. or saying hydrogenhydrogenhydrogencarbonhydrogenhydrogenhydrogencarbonhydrogenhydrogenhydrogencarbonhydrogenhydrogenhydrogencarbon instead of propane.

i am not good at biology but what i know that wordt what ewm gave is rather a map on how how the acetyl, glutmin, seryl and tyrosyl are placed. because if you replace one of those, they get different dna proporties.

you know like CSI you see in DNA: TGCAACAGT etc etc etc etc and they compare that chain of letters with the found DNA on the victim.

well this is the same but then writen fully.

i am sure there is a bigger word in chamistry but for now i know this one out of my head:

5Z,7E)-(3S)-9,10-secocholesta-5,7,10(19)-trien-3-ol
