Since there are quite a few German members, let's build on those caricatures and talk about the favorite drink for man: Beer.

What kind of beer do you like, what kind of beer don't you like.

Explain to Americans why Budweiser (insert strong negative here).

We're quite aware that Budweiser sucks .

  Btw, the state where I come from (Oregon), has more microbrews than Germany and only 4 Million people

Agreed, bubwiser is extremely terrible.
Heineken is the only beer that i really like IMO.....


And Oregon, fancy that, i really like oregon, benn there lots, hope to move there someday....... soon tm.......

Beer, like wine, is good for some foods, but why do people drink it past that ?

Not like beer gets you drunk.

Agreed, bubwiser is extremely terrible.
Heineken is the only beer that i really like IMO....

And Heineken is the Worst Dutch beer.....

You obviously never tasted "Oranjeboom".

Heineken is not my favorite beer either, but i prefer special brews like Jopen or Palm.

Regular pilsner is Hertog Jan for me. Grolsh is ok, ideal when playing cards because of the bottle.

Ha! What a lovely thread! 
For me only wheat beer (in german: Weizenbier), is the real beer. Maybe cuz i live in the southwest of Germany, hehe. My nr1 is Gutmanns, its delicious with loads of yummy yeast. Also favs are: Augustiner, Kaiser, Paulaner, Franziskaner and lots more. The dark versions of them are also great. So if U visit the south, try one of these. Im sure Ull get in the good taste of the glorious wheat beer fast

that's right... but almost no one knows Oranjeboom, but Heineken is sold everywhere....
Grolsch is good, but the bes beer to drink is the German Bitburger....
After drinking Bitburger, no matter how much of it I drank, I never got a headache

specials are obviously better yeah.... Palm. Or  Leffe, Westmalle, Le Choufe..
